Good Manufacturing Certificate Quality Assurance & Complaints
The US Food, Medication & Cosmetic Act calls for all aesthetic suppliers to maintain documents of any injury resulting or claiming to arise from using their products.
The criteria for quality assurance need that:
- Records are kept regarding the kind and extent of each reported injury and the body part included, as well as any kind of medical treatment entailed and the going to a physician and/or health center.
- Records are kept of the product related to each injury and its' batch code number.
- Records are maintained of the name and area of any poison control center or government company to whom formula details and/or poisoning information are provided.
Other QA Issues to Think About:
- Does a company voluntarily submit Aesthetic Product Experience Reports?
- Does a business preserve records tracking customer issues, any kind of relevant lab information referring to the item, and exactly how the issue was resolved?
