The standards for purchasing, storing, testing, and documenting raw materials are as follows:
- Document the receipt of raw materials and carry out tests promptly to ensure that they meet all standards.
- Store and handle ingredients in a way that prevents them from mixing, contaminating, or decomposing.
- All containers are properly marked to ensure their identity, batch identification, and control status.
- All containers are sealed, properly sealed and properly stored.
- All raw materials of animal or vegetable origin, as well as cosmetics manufactured using the cold pressing process, are tested for contamination with dirt or microorganisms.
- All raw materials that do not meet the specifications are duly identified to avoid their use in cosmetics.
